August 19 (Tuesday) – Holiday in Tripura on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur.

23 August (Saturday) – Holiday on fourth Saturday.

25 August (Monday) – Banks closed in Assam on the occasion of Srimanta Shankardev’s date.

27 August (Wednesday) – Banks in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur (Maharashtra), Bengaluru (Karnataka), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Hyderabad (Telangana), Panaji (Goa) and Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) will remain closed on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and related festivals.

28 August (Thursday) – Holiday on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuakhai festival in Odisha and Goa.
