Jharkhand News: Two separate road accidents took place in Jharkhand on Wednesday. A family returning from the Rath Yatra fair in Ranchi was hit by a truck, killing two children and their mother. Three members of a family lost their lives in a collision between a truck and a car in Giridih.
Ranchi: Six people died in two road accidents in Ranchi and Giridih in Jharkhand on Wednesday, while five people were seriously injured. Regarding the accident that took place in Nagdi police station area of Ranchi district on Wednesday evening, it was told that a couple was going to the Rath Yatra fair in Jagannathpur with their four young children on a bike. The bike lost balance in Naro Bazaar and fell on the road. Meanwhile, a truck coming from behind hit them.
Two girls and mother died on the spot, father and two children injured
In the accident, two innocent children and their mother died on the spot, while the father and two children were seriously injured. Local people immediately informed the police. Nagdi police station has sent the bodies of the three deceased to Ranchi RIMS for post-mortem. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Horrible accident in Giridih too
Another accident happened on Giridih-Deoghar road on Tuesday-Wednesday night in which three people of the same family died. It was told that a speeding truck and a car collided near Madhwa toll tax Parsuramdih in Bangabad police station area. Lilo Turi, Chhotu Turi and Rajan Turi, who were travelling in the car, died on the spot.
3 killed and two injured in accident
Two women of the family, Soni Devi and Sangeeta Devi, were injured in the accident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and admitted the injured to Giridih Sadar Hospital for treatment. The family that became victim of the accident is a resident of Jarangdih in Jamua police station area of Giridih. It was told that all the people had gone to participate in a puja and were returning to Giridih from there. Police have arrested the truck driver in this case.
