Garhwa, Chatra, Ranchi, Sahibganj, Godda and Latehar received a lot of rain in the last 24 hours. Due to strong storm and lightning, the weather became very pleasant after 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Seeing the changing weather in these districts, yellow alert was issued 6 times within about 4 hours. People in these districts were warned to be cautious of the changing weather.
Ranchi Meteorological Center scientist Abhishek Anand said, there is a cyclonic trough from Rajasthan to Jharkhand. As a result of this, lightning and rain are being seen. This situation will remain for 2 more days. After that the weather will change again. Then there will be a feeling of considerable heat. An increase of up to 4 degrees in the maximum temperature is possible.
Yellow alert in 12 districts
In view of the changing weather, yellow alert has been issued in 12 districts. In these, warnings have been issued for heavy rain and thunderstorms especially in Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga, East and West Singhbhum, Simdega, Saraikela Kharsawan, Palamu, Chatra Garhwa and Gumla. There is a possibility of change in weather especially from 2:00 pm. If you drive during this time, take shelter in a safe place.
Hailstorm also occurred here
If we talk about the capital Ranchi, then thunderstorm was recorded along with heavy rain from 2:00 pm. Due to this the weather was quite pleasant. The maximum temperature dropped by four degrees. The same was the case with Khunti and Lohardaga. People got relief from the scorching sun. Hailstorm was also recorded in Khunti.
Potential temperature of districts
Talking about the potential temperature, maximum 37 and minimum 25 degrees can be recorded in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj, maximum 38 degrees and minimum 24 degrees in Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Palamu, maximum 37 degrees and minimum 24 degrees in Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, maximum 37 degrees and minimum 24 degrees, East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega can record maximum 38 and minimum 26 degrees.
