It has been learned that now patients in Sadar Hospital will be able to get CT scan and MRI tests done on the prescription of doctors of private hospitals and clinics. For this, they will only have to bring the prescription issued by private doctors for the test.
MOU with Krishna Diagnostic
It was told that after bringing the slip, the patient will not have to take any approval. He will be able to go directly to the counter and complete his procedure and get the test done. In this regard, an MOU has been done with Krishna Diagnostic. As per the terms of the MOU, whatever profit Krishna Diagnostic makes from CT scan and MRI, 15% of it will be given to Sadar Hospital.
MRI tests will start soon
Meanwhile, after the installation of CT scan machine in Sadar Hospital, patients are reaching daily for their tests. Here, CT scan of patients is being done with a modern machine with 128 slices. Krishna Diagnostic is providing this service to patients under PPP mode. However, due to continuous rain, the service is not being started with the MRI machine at present. After the weather clears, the radiologist will also start MRI tests.
CT scan tests are being done at a low cost
Meanwhile, according to the terms of the MoU with Sadar Hospital, CT scan tests of Ayushman patients and all beneficiaries will be done for free. Whereas, for general patients, the fee will be charged as per the government amount fixed by CGHS, which is one-fourth of the market rate.

According to the information, the testing will be free in special cases like Ayushman beneficiaries, ration card holders and police cases. Non-Ayushman patients will be able to get tested for just Rs 1035 with the 128 slide CT scan machine installed here. At the same time, the price of MRI test has also been kept very low. Here MRI test facility is available for Rs 1662.
Relief to patients of superspeciality departments
About a dozen superspeciality departments are being operated in Sadar Hospital. These departments include Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, ENT, Gastro, Nephrology and Urology, among others. In such a situation, when the doctor will write to the patients for its test to detect the disease, then now the patients will not have to go out for this.
