Two women lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Latehar district of Jharkhand. An uncontrollable truck crushed them while they were sitting on the roadside. The driver fled from the spot. News of a tragic road accident has come from Latehar district of Jharkhand. Two women died on the spot after being hit by an uncontrolled truck on Sunday morning. This incident happened near Adhaans village of Netarhat police station area at around 10 am.
According to the news agency report, after the accident, there was chaos in the area and angry villagers blocked the main road. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Sushma Ekka and Pushpa Ekka, who were family members.
According to the information, both the women were sitting on the roadside, when a speeding truck lost control and crushed them. Immediately after the accident, the truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, Netarhat police station in-charge Abhishek Kumar reached the spot with his team. He said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and an intensive search operation is being carried out to find the absconding truck driver. The police is also scanning the CCTV footage installed in the surrounding areas so that the accused driver can be identified.
In protest against this accident, local villagers blocked the Netarhat-Mahuadanr main road for about two hours. The protesters demanded that the families of the deceased be given proper compensation and the truck driver be arrested soon. Later, the blockade was removed after the police and administrative officials persuaded them.
