Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Jharkhand Home Guard Corps, Chatra has announced recruitment for 463 rural and urban home guard positions. Applications are only accepted online; visit recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in. The closing date is September 30.

The official notification in this regard has been issued and interested candidates can apply online till 30 September 2025. The application process is going on on the official website of Jharkhand Government, recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in.

For rural Home Guard positions, candidates must have at least passed the 7th grade from a recognized school and have experience in Hindi writing. For urban Home Guard positions, the minimum qualification is 10th grade. This system has been designed to provide equal opportunities to youth from rural and urban areas.

Under the physical standards, the height limit for male candidates is 162 centimeters for General, OBC, and BC categories, and 157 centimeters for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories. The height limit for women is 148 centimeters for all categories. Male candidates should have a chest measurement of 79 centimeters for General, OBC, and BC categories, and 76 centimeters for SC/ST categories.

The minimum age for applying candidates is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.

The application fee for all categories of candidates is ₹100. To apply, candidates must visit recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in and click on “New Registration.” After registration, they must log in, fill in the required details, and upload all required documents. Finally, it is important to pay the application fee and preserve a printout of the form.

Candidates will be selected based on three stages: first, a physical efficiency test, then a Hindi writing ability test, and finally, an interview. Only successful candidates in all these stages will be included in the final selection list.

The recruitment for 463 Home Guard posts in Jharkhand is a major employment opportunity for youth.
