Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and Garhwa, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Saraikela Kharsawan witnessed heavy rains after 4 pm. Garhwa recorded the highest rainfall of 116 mm. Waterlogging on roads in Ranchi made it seem as if roads had turned into rivers. Scooties and cars were seen floating. The rain has completely disrupted life here.
Effect of low pressure
Ranchi meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that this rain is happening due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Also, the monsoon trough is passing through Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, due to which rain will continue for the next five days. Especially the weather will change after 2 pm.

Water entered the hospitals
Due to waterlogging and rain, water entered the OPD of Medica Hospital and Seva Sadan Hospital in Ranchi, causing a lot of trouble to the patients. Some scooters floated half a kilometer away and the owners were seen searching for them. People will have to remain alert for the next three-four days in this heavy rain.
