If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher, then Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has brought a golden opportunity for you. The commission has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1373 posts of Secondary Teacher (Class 9th to 12th). Under this recruitment, eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply from 18 June 2025.

What should be the educational qualification?
B.Ed / M.Ed
B.Tech / M.Sc
MCA or post graduation degree in any subject
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applying has been fixed at 45 years. Reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
What will be the salary?
The selected candidates will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. This pay scale will be as per the 7th Pay Commission and other allowances can also be given along with it.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for the general category is Rs 100. While the fee for SC/ST category is Rs 50. The fee can be paid online.
How will the selection be done?
Under this recruitment, the candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. Paper 1 will be general knowledge for 100 marks, Hindi and English language for 100 marks and Paper 2 will be subject based examination (in which the recruitment is to be done) for 300 marks. That is, the total examination will be of 500 marks.

Where and how to apply?
Candidates can start the application process through “New Registration” by visiting the official website of JSSC, jssc.jharkhand.gov.in. Once the registration is complete, login and fill in the required information and submit the form by uploading the documents. Finally, the application has to be completed by paying the prescribed fee.
