Due to line block in Jharkhand, 11 pairs of trains from Ranchi, Howrah and Shalimar to Chakradharpur division passing through Tatanagar have been cancelled in up-down direction for 16 days.

Due to line block in Jharkhand, 11 pairs of trains of Chakradharpur division from Ranchi, Howrah and Shalimar passing through Tatanagar have been cancelled in up-down from 3 May to 18 May. These include Shalimar-Badampahar Express from 3 to 18 May, Rourkela-Badampahar Express from 4 to 18 May, Udaipur-Shalimar Express from 10 and 11 May,

Howrah-Hatia Kriyayoga Express from 11 to 17 May, Howrah-Jagdalpur Sambaleshwari Express from 10 May, Kantabaji-Howrah Ispat Express from 17 and 18 May, Ahmedabad-Howrah Express from 16 and 17 May and Howrah-Barbil Janshatabdi Express from 17 and 18 May. Similarly, due to line block in Nagpur division, three trains of Mumbai route passing through Tatanagar will also be cancelled.

According to the railways, Okha-Shalimar Express will be cancelled on May 4 and Shalimar-Okha Express on May 6, Howrah-Mumbai Mail on May 4, while Mumbai to Howrah Mail on May 4 and 6, Kamakhya-Mumbai Karmabhoomi Express on May 3 and Mumbai-Kamakhya Karmabhoomi Express on May 6. Due to the cancellation of these trains, hundreds of passengers from Kolhan, Bengal and Odisha on the Howrah-Mumbai route, who had booked tickets two months ago, will face problems in travelling. Now after the cancellation of these trains, passengers will have to face problems.
