Heat has broken records in other districts including Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi. There was such sunshine since 10:00 am that people are postponing their work to evening instead of afternoon. Due to this, roads are deserted in the afternoon and traffic jam like situation is seen in the evening. The same situation was seen in eastern districts like Sahibganj and Godda. At the same time, people will get some relief from the heat today, because there is a possibility of rain today.
Relief from heat will be available from today
According to the Meteorological Center, the weather will change again from today and there is a possibility of good rain due to the trough passing through Jharkhand. There may be good rain in central, south and eastern districts. There is a possibility of good rain in every district except Palamu, Chatra, Latehar, Garhwa district. There may be partial cloud cover in the morning and a change in the weather is possible after noon.
At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued regarding rain as well as thunderstorm and strong storm. In such a situation, people need to be very cautious at this time. If you notice such changes in the weather, immediately take shelter in a safe place and do not take the warning lightly. Especially do not stand under poles and trees.

According to the weather centre, the situation will remain the same till 19 May. On 18 and 19 May, there may be heavy rainfall in the entire state, due to which the maximum temperature will drop by 5 to 6 degrees and people will get a lot of relief from the heat. The minimum temperature will also drop by three to four degrees.

If we talk about the possible temperature, maximum 41 and minimum 28 degrees can be recorded in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj, maximum 40 degrees and minimum 27 degrees in Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Palamu, maximum 39 degrees and minimum 26 degrees in Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, maximum 41 degrees and minimum 28 degrees, East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega can record maximum 41 and minimum 28 degrees.
