Traffic Alert: An important meeting of the Eastern Regional Council is going to be held today on 10 July under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital Ranchi. Chief Ministers of many states including Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and many VVIPs will attend it.
In view of this important meeting, major changes have been made in the traffic system of the city due to security arrangements. Vehicle movement will be disrupted on many major routes of the capital. People traveling by auto may have to face problems today.
Auto operations will be stopped from 8 am
In view of the changes in the traffic system, auto operations will be stopped between Birsa Chowk and Sujata Chowk from 8 am to 12 noon on July 10 and then from 2 pm to 6 pm. Apart from this, there will be no entry of large cargo vehicles in Ranchi city from 6 am to 10 pm. At the same time, entry of all vehicles will be prohibited from Big Bazaar Chowk to below Kadru Bridge.
Major changes in traffic system
On July 10, from 8 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm, the movement and operation of autos will be closed from Birsa Chowk to Sujata Chowk.
On July 10, from 6 am to 10 pm, the entry and operation of large cargo vehicles will be prohibited in Ranchi city.
On July 10, from 8 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm, the entry and operation of small cargo vehicles will also be prohibited in the city.
On July 10, from Big Bazaar Chowk to Chowk below Kadru Bridge (except vehicles
participating in the program). The movement and operation of all types of vehicles will be prohibited.
