The Meteorological Department has predicted continuous rain in many districts of Jharkhand for the next 5 days. The department has issued a yellow alert and said that during this period, heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms may occur at some places.
Along with the capital Ranchi, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the districts of Khunti, Gumla, Ramgarh, Bokaro and Kolhan. According to meteorologists, cyclonic circulation is formed over Jharkhand, due to which it is raining continuously in the state and it will continue in future as well.
On Friday, it rained throughout the day in Ranchi and 30 mm of rain was recorded. Since June 1, the capital has received 770.8 mm of rain, which is 150 percent more than normal. In the last 24 hours, 499.6 mm of rain was recorded across the state, while the normal rainfall is 296.4 mm. That is, this time there has been 69 percent more rain.

Temperature status
The maximum temperature of Ranchi on Friday was 28.4 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees more than the previous day. The lowest temperature was recorded at 26.7 degrees in Latehar. Saraikela was the hottest, where the mercury reached 35.4 degrees Celsius.
Abhishek Anand, scientist of Ranchi Meteorological Center, said that the cyclonic circulation formed over the state will remain active in the coming days as well. Due to this, there is a possibility of lightning and strong winds along with rain. There will also be a drop in temperature. People have been advised to stay in safe places during bad weather and follow the instructions of the Meteorological Department.
