According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure prevailing over the state has weakened and entered the eastern region of North Entry. The chances of rain have reduced. The weather became clear after 12 noon in Ranchi and surrounding districts and the sun shone throughout the day. Due to clear weather, the temperature on Wednesday was 28.6 degree Celsius. Which is less than the last 24 hours. The temperature of Ranchi is one degree below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 22.6 degrees. Whereas the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 34.8 degrees in Saraikela.
Ranchi received 12 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours
According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall in the state during the last 24 hours was 204 mm in Chainpur. At the same time, 158.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Palamu. 82 mm rainfall was recorded in Hazaribagh and 81 mm in Deoghar. Light rainfall is also occurring in some parts of the state. During this time, only 12.2 mm rainfall was recorded in the capital Ranchi during the last 24 hours. So far, 565.4 mm rainfall has occurred in the entire state from June 1 to July 15, which is 68 percent more than the normal rainfall.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the weather is expected to be clear in the state from Friday. The low pressure area has passed and entered eastern Uttar Pradesh, so the weather will be clear from Friday.
Ranchi received the highest rainfall of 816 mm in the state. After the entry of monsoon from June 17, the entire state including Ranchi received continuous rainfall. Ranchi received the highest rainfall of 816.6 mm in the entire state, which is 126 percent more than the rainfall of 361.3 mm during this period.
