Method of updating the photo
First of all, you have to go to the Aadhaar Card (UIDAI) website and go to the Locate Enrolment Center section and get information about your nearest Aadhaar service center. After this, you have to go there and fill the Enrolment / Correction Form. After filling the form, you have to verify your identity with your biometrics (fingerprint or iris). After this, you have to pay Rs 100 and you will get a URN (Update Request Number), from which you can track the status of your update.

It usually takes 30 days to update the photo in the Aadhaar card, but in some cases this process can go up to 90 days. Once the Aadhaar card is updated, you can download e-Aadhaar which will include your new photo. Under this process, you can update not only the photo but also the name, date of birth, address, mobile number etc. However, if you want to change only the photo, then you have to choose the option of photo update only.
