Rain wreaks havoc in Jharkhand: IMD issues red alert for Dhanbad and Giridih!

Jharkhand Today’s Weather: The Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and strong winds in several districts of Jharkhand, including Dhanbad, for Durga Puja. Meanwhile, six people have died due to lightning strikes across Jharkhand so far.

A major update has emerged regarding the weather in Jharkhand. The Ranchi Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Dhanbad and several other districts of the state during Durga Puja. However, heavy rain is expected on October 2 and 3. Meanwhile, the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal has begun to weaken. The resulting circulation has moved towards Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

In this context, light rain may occur in some parts of Jharkhand until September 30. Strong winds with speeds of 30-40 kilometers per hour are also possible during this period. Thunderstorms are also possible. The maximum temperature will rise by 2-3 degrees. The Ranchi Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms. Today, heavy rain is expected in some areas, including Dhanbad, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, and Sahibganj.
