Aadhaar Card New Rules: Big changes from November 1st! Failure to do this will create problems.

Aadhaar card-related features will change starting November 1st. Users will be able to update their information from the comfort of their homes. Linking your Aadhaar-PAN is mandatory; otherwise, the PAN will be deactivated. The KYC process has also been simplified and made secure.

Several major features related to Aadhaar cards are set to change starting November 1st. Aadhaar users will now be able to update key information like their name, address, date of birth, and mobile number online from the comfort of their homes. They will no longer need to visit an enrollment center.

Under the new UIDAI system, your information will be automatically verified against government databases such as PAN, passport, driving license, ration card, and birth certificate. This will make the Aadhaar update process faster, easier, and more secure. Additionally, the update fee at enrollment centers has also been revised.

Additionally, Aadhaar-PAN linking has now become mandatory. All PAN holders must link their Aadhaar by December 31, 2025, or their PAN will become inactive from January 1, 2026.

Aadhaar authentication will now be required for those applying for a new PAN card. The KYC process has also been simplified. Banks and financial institutions will now be able to verify customer identity through Aadhaar OTP, video KYC, or face-to-face verification. This will make the process faster, paperless, and secure.

New Fee System for Aadhaar Updates

  • Demographic Update (Name, Address, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, or Email): 75 rupees
  • Biometric Update (Fingerprint, Eye Scan, and Photo): 125 rupees
  • Mandatory Biometric Update for Children (5–7 years and 15–17 years): Free
  • Document Update: 75 rupees at the center, but online update is free until June 14th
    Aadhaar Print: 40 rupees
  • Home Enrollment Service: 700 rupees for the first person and 350 rupees for each additional person at the same address
  • These changes will further simplify and secure the process for millions of Aadhaar holders.
