It was told by the company management that bonus has been paid in most of the areas on Friday. It is known that this time Rs 1.03 lakh has been paid to the coal workers under the bonus (Profit Linked Reward) head. Bonus was to be paid to 30,218 workers in BCCL. At present the manpower is less than that. Including the retired workers in the current financial year, the number is 30,218.
The serving workers were paid late on Friday evening. It is known that despite the financial challenge faced by the company due to the production-dispatch being affected in the monsoon, some amount was taken as loan from the bank and bonus was paid to the workers. Management sources said that there is not much financial challenge before the company.
