Jharkhand government has transferred 30 Indian Police Service officers to strengthen law and order in the state and West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan has been made the new Senior Superintendent of Police of Ranchi.

The government appointed West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan as the new Senior Superintendent of Police of Ranchi. The state government relieved Anurag Gupta, posted on the post of DGP, from the charge of CID and ACB. At the same time, Rakesh Ranjan, posted on the post of West Singhbhum (Chaibasa) SP, has been made the new SSP of Ranchi. Wireless DG Prashant Singh has been given the additional charge of DG Headquarters while Priya Dubey, posted on the post of JAP ADG, has been made ADG of ACB.
In this regard, according to a notification issued by the Home Department late Thursday night, DGP Anurag Gupta was relieved of the charge of CID and ACB. Wireless DG Prashant Singh was given the additional charge of DG Headquarters. Suman Gupta, who was awaiting posting, was made ADG Railways. Priya Dubey was made ADG ACB. Priya Dubey will also be in charge of JAP ADG and Training and Modernization. Ranchi IG Manoj Kaushik will be in charge of IG CID.
Kranti Kumar Gadideshi, posted as Bokaro IG, has been appointed IG (Human Rights). Narendra Kumar Singh has been appointed IG (Vigilance and Security) of the Jharkhand Electricity Board. Dumka IG Shailendra Sinha has been appointed IG (Palamu). Sudarshan Mandal, posted as IG (CID), has been appointed IG (Headquarters) and will be in charge of IG (Prisons). Sunil Bhaskar has been appointed Bokaro Zonal IG. Mayur Kanhaiyalal, IG (Provision), Patel, has been given charge of the Dumka Zonal IG. Sanjeev Kumar, posted as DIG (CID), has been appointed DIG (SIB).
West Singhbhum (Chaibasa) SP Rakesh Ranjan has been appointed as the new SSP of Ranchi. Shailendra Prasad Barnwal has been appointed DIG (ACB). Manoj Ratan has been appointed DIG (Special Branch).
Palamu DIG Naushad Alam Ansari has been asked to report to the police headquarters. Ajit Peter Dungdung, posted in Deoghar, has been posted as Joint Director, Jharkhand Police Academy, Hazaribagh, until further orders. Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha has been appointed ACB DIG. Arvind Kumar Singh has been appointed SP, Special Branch. Ehtesham Waqarib has been appointed CID SP.
Amit Renu has been appointed SP, West Singhbhum (Chaibasa). Saurabh, posted as Commandant, JAP 10, has been transferred and appointed as Deoghar SP. Ranchi City SP Ajit Kumar has been appointed Rail SP, Jamshedpur. Deepak Kumar Pandey has been appointed SP, Special Branch. Animesh Naithani has been appointed SP, ACB. Kailash Karmali has been appointed Rail SP, Dhanbad. Manoj Swargiri has been appointed Commandant, JAP 3, Govindpur.
Mumal Rajpurohit was made Commandant of ZAP 8. Paras Rana was made City SP, Ranchi and given additional charge of ZAP 10. Rakesh Singh was made Traffic SP, Ranchi and given additional charge of Wireless SP.
