Jharkhand Rain Alert: Ranchi, Jamshedpur… Rain will wreak havoc in 9 districts of Jharkhand today, people of Jamtara-Hazaribagh should be careful!

Jharkhand Weather Today: Monsoon’s mood is changing in Ranchi. Sahibganj received 180 mm of rain, due to which the Shiva temple was submerged in water. Orange alert is issued in western districts today. 970 mm of rain was recorded in Jamshedpur.

It is difficult to say when and where the mood of monsoon will change. Red alert is issued for the southern district and heavy rain is happening in the eastern district. Red alert was issued in Jamshedpur for the last 24 hours. It rained in Jamshedpur, but the heaviest rain was recorded in Sahibganj at 180 mm. The situation here was such that a Shiva temple was submerged in water.

Ranchi meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the weather trough is passing through the western and eastern districts, so it is raining so heavily in Sahibganj. Today there will be good rain in the western district, not the southern one. Yesterday an alert was issued for the southern districts, today the same alert is for the western districts.

Heavy rain alert in 9 districts today
Today, an orange alert has been issued especially for the western districts. People of Koderma, Jamtara, Deoghar, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Latehar, Giridih and Hazaribagh have to remain alert today. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in districts like Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga, Sahibganj, Godda, Dumka, Pakur, Dhanbad and Bokaro.

There was torrential rain in Jamshedpur. In some colonies, the situation was such that school going children were seen crossing the road with their shoes in their hands. At some places the boundary wall fell down and at other places it became difficult to cross the road as they got stuck in the mud. Jamshedpur has received 970 mm of rain so far, which is a record.
