Jharkhand Rainfall: A big update has come out regarding the weather of Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the period of heavy rain will start once again in the state from today. During this time, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in 19 districts of the state.
Jharkhand Weather: Weak monsoon will be active in Jharkhand from Wednesday and rain is expected in different parts of the state for the next four days. During this time, rain is expected in almost all parts of the state. Orange alert has been issued in six districts of Kolhan and Santhal Pargana of the state and yellow alert in 13 districts on 24 and 25. Rain is expected in all parts of the state till July 27. During this time, warning of lightning along with strong winds has also been given.
Heavy rain alert in these districts
The weather department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain on 24 and 25 in East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan and Jamtara, Dumka, Deoghar of Santhal. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in some places in Ranchi, Simdega, Latehar, Lohardaga, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, Dhanbad, Giridih, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Khunti.
Normal rainfall in Ranchi is 428 mm, 864 mm has already occurred
According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon remained weak in Jharkhand during the last 24 hours. 38 mm rainfall occurred in Kolebira. At the same time, 28 mm rainfall was recorded in Maithon. Apart from this, light rain was recorded at many places. Jharkhand has received 644.5 mm rainfall so far during this monsoon season, which is 55 percent more than the normal rainfall of 414.9 mm. At the same time, 864.4 mm rainfall has already occurred in Ranchi during this period. This is 102 percent more than the normal rainfall of 428.1 mm during this period.
Low pressure is moving towards Jharkhand
According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation has formed over the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha near the central Bay of Bengal. Also, a low pressure area is forecast to form in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal by Thursday. In case of formation of a low pressure area, it will move towards Jharkhand. This may cause heavy rain in some places in the state. Due to clear skies in various districts of the state, the temperature is up to two degrees higher than normal. At the same time, the maximum temperature of Ranchi during the last 24 hours was 31.3 degrees, which is about one degree higher than the last 24 hours. At the same time, the highest maximum in the state was 36.7 degrees in Saraikela.
Giving information about the weather of Jharkhand, meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the monsoon will be active in the state during the next 24 hours and rain is forecast in all parts of the state. Orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in six districts of the state and yellow alert in many other districts including Ranchi during the coming five days.
