Jharkhand Today’s Weather: Ranchi, Gumla… Rain will wreak havoc in 3 districts of Jharkhand, IMD issues storm alert

Jharkhand Today’s Weather: Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi received 55 mm of rain on Wednesday, bringing the monsoon close to 500 mm. Orange alert has been issued in Gumla, Simdega and West Singhbhum.

Heavy rain started in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi at 11 am on Wednesday. Along with this, districts like Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Godda, Sahibganj, Khunti, Lohardaga also received heavy rain for 1 to 2 hours. Then intermittent rain was recorded after 3:00 pm. Ranchi has received the highest rainfall of 55 mm in the last 24 hours.

At present, looking at the condition of monsoon in Jharkhand, it seems that monsoon has been more kind to Ranchi. Because till now the rainfall in Ranchi has reached close to 500 mm. Whereas in Latehar and Khunti, it has rained up to 400 mm. However, people in these districts may get some relief from rain today.

There will be yellow alert in these districts
At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in some districts like Ranchi, Khunti, Latehar and Ramgarh. That means it will rain here too but not so intensely. The situation will be normal in other districts. No alert has been issued for other districts. That means people of Sahibganj, Godda and Pakur are likely to get a lot of relief from rain today.

10 people have lost their lives
So far 10 people have lost their lives due to the rain in Jharkhand. Where 3 people have died due to lightning and rain on Tuesday. Among them two women standing near the field in Sonahatu died due to lightning. While in Ranchi near Bahu Bazar a father passing by with his son died due to the collapse of the boundary wall of a school. While the son has been injured.
