4 yellow alerts within 2 hours
In the last 24 hours, yellow alert was issued four times, especially between 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This alert was issued for some districts like Saraikela Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, Simdega and Dumka regarding strong storm, storm and rain. Here people were advised to be cautious of strong winds and storms.
11 districts should be cautious for 48 hours
For the next 48 hours, a yellow alert has been issued for heat stroke in 11 districts like Sahibganj, Godda, Dumka, Jamtara, Pakur, East and West Singhbhum, Simdega, Saraikela Kharsawan, Deoghar and Dhanbad. The temperature here can cross 42 degrees. In such a situation, do not go out of the house unless it is very necessary, especially between 12 and 3 o’clock. Take special care of yourself and stay hydrated.
Relief from heat will be available from 16 May
However, people will get relief after enduring the heat for 48 hours. The effect of the low pressure forming in the Bay of Bengal will be seen after 48 hours. That is, there is a possibility of strong storm, storm and lightning along with good rain in the entire state from 16 May. Due to this, the maximum temperature will also see a drop of 3-4 degrees from the 16th.
Potential temperature of districts
Talking about the potential temperature, maximum 42 and minimum 28 degrees can be recorded in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj, maximum 42 and minimum 27 degrees in Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Palamu, maximum 41 and minimum 26 degrees in Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, maximum 43 and minimum 27 degrees can be recorded in East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega.
