Jharkhand Today’s Weather: The Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in several districts of Jharkhand. Pakur received the highest rainfall, while Jamshedpur recorded high temperatures. People have been advised to remain vigilant during this time.
The people of Jharkhand received some relief from the rain on Sunday. The weather remained consistent throughout almost every district, with light drizzle. The sky remained partly cloudy throughout the day, but there was no sign of rain. Only districts like Deoghar and Godda saw light showers. However, the Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain on Monday in some districts of Jharkhand.

1. According to the Meteorological Department, the very deep low pressure area that formed in the Bay of Bengal recently is moving northwestward from Odisha to Chhattisgarh and is now over Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
2 • Due to this, there will be heavy rainfall at some places in 10 districts of Bihar including border Santhal Pargana, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad, Koderma, Chatra, Bokaro, Dhanbad.

3 • In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Pakur at 28.6 mm. The highest temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees in Jamshedpur and the lowest at 19 degrees in Latehar.
4 • A thunderstorm warning is issued, especially for southern districts such as East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan, Simdega, Ranchi, and Khunti. Winds here will blow at speeds of 30 to 40 km per hour.
5 • In these districts, the Meteorological Department has specifically advised people who go fishing, work in the fields, or play in the open to be cautious. It should be noted that seven people have died due to lightning in the last 20 days.
