Jharkhand weather today: Be careful! Thiruvananthapuram, heavy rain expected on November 9, IMD

Jharkhand Weather Today: Heavy rain in Ranchi has submerged the city, the water level in Kanke and Hatia dams has reached its peak. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in many districts. There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms till June 25.

In Jharkhand, people have got some relief due to light sunshine in the morning in the last 24 hours, but after 3 pm, heavy rain started suddenly, due to which the whole city was submerged once again. At the same time, the water level in Kanke Dam and Hatia Dam has reached its peak, due to which water entered the nearby settlements and life has become disrupted.

Rain warning in these districts
This situation is not limited to Ranchi only. But it was also seen in districts like Bokaro, Jamtara, Palamu, Pakur, Dumka, Sahibganj, Khunti, Latehar and Lohardaga. Where the weather was pleasant and the maximum temperature reached 26 degrees, due to which people were forced to cover themselves with blankets even during the day. The Meteorological Department had issued 5 orange alerts for these districts.

Chance of rain today too
Today also there is a possibility of good rain in Bokaro, Jamtara, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Ranchi, Khunti and Lohardaga. Partial clouds can be seen in the morning and light sunshine in the afternoon, but after 2 o’clock the weather can change again and the wind can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour. Where the maximum temperature can remain 27-30 degrees and the minimum temperature can remain 20-21 degrees.
Be careful of lightning

Ranchi Meteorological Department says that people need to be cautious of thunderstorms along with rain. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that if it rains for 4 hours, then there will be continuous thunder and lightning. Therefore, do not take the warning lightly and do not go out of the house at this time.

The weather will remain the same till June 25
According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather will continue till June 25. Where the effect of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal and the pressure of monsoon are creating thunderclouds, which will have its effect till the 25th.

Record breaking rain in Ranchi
Ranchi has recorded 421 mm of rain so far, which is much more than last year and 60% more than normal. At the same time, Khunti, Lohardaga, Saraikela Kharsawan and West Singhbhum have recorded rainfall between 310 to 330 mm, which is 50% more than normal.
