Jharkhand Today’s Weather : Heavy rain alerts have been issued in several districts of Jharkhand, including Ranchi, Ramgarh, Khunti, and Hazaribagh. Yellow and orange alerts have also been issued in several districts. However, the weather is expected to clear after October 6th.
From Jharkhand’s capital, Ranchi, to Ramgarh, from Khunti to Hazaribagh, it seems as if every district’s roads are flooded with water. It’s difficult to distinguish between road and pond water. This year, the monsoon has been extraordinarily kind to Jharkhand. It’s showing no signs of letting up. Consequently, people may face some inconvenience from the rain today and tomorrow.

This rain system is being activated due to a low pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal. This cyclonic circulation, extending up to 9.6 kilometers above sea level, is expected to intensify into a depression within the next 12 hours. Consequently, an alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rainfall, particularly in Jharkhand, on October 4th.

Know where it will rain today
1. Yellow Alert – Heavy rainfall is possible at isolated places in Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj, Chatra, Garhwa, and other districts on October 4. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts.
2. Orange Alert – An orange alert has been issued for Palamu, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Chatra, and Garhwa. Winds here can blow at speeds of 50 to 60 km per hour. Residents here need to be extra cautious.
3. The Ranchi Meteorological Department has specifically warned fishermen and farmers working in the fields to be extra cautious if they venture into the plains, as these workers may not be able to find safe shelter immediately during a lightning strike.
4. The weather will change again after October 6th. Rainfall may stop and the skies will clear as the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal will weaken significantly.
