Jharkhand Weather Today: People of Jharkhand beware, Dumka, Puri… 10 districts will have heavy rains, know how the weather will be today

Jharkhand Today’s Weather: Ranchi has been submerged due to heavy rains in Jharkhand, IPS officer’s house is also submerged in water. Hospital services are disrupted in Jamshedpur. Rain will continue till June 28. Hazaribagh has received 109 mm of rain.

Heavy rain continues in almost every district of Jharkhand. In the last 24 hours, heavy rain has been falling in the capital Ranchi since 3:00 pm, due to which the entire city is submerged. Be it the house of an IPS officer or a common settlement, water has filled everywhere. Cars and bikes are stuck in water in Ranchi’s Upper Bazaar. At the same time, hospital services have been disrupted due to heavy rain in Jamshedpur.

Weather will remain like this till June 28

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand of Ranchi Meteorological Center said that there is no relief from rain at the moment. Due to the Bay of Bengal and 2 synoptic features of monsoon, such a situation will remain till June 28. Although there will not be torrential rain, there is a possibility of intermittent rain four to five times a day.

Water filled up to people’s bedrooms

The rain was so heavy in the capital Ranchi that the people of Kanke colony had to leave their homes. From the drawing room to the bedroom of their house, water has filled up everywhere. There is current flowing in the electric poles here. People need to be cautious even today. Because such a situation is likely to occur again in some districts.

Heavy rain alert in 10 districts
The weather center has issued an alert for 10 districts today. These include Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Puri, West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan, Simdega, Khunti and Lohardaga. There is a possibility of heavy rain and strong winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in these districts.

Hazaribagh received the highest rainfall
In the last 24 hours, Hazaribagh has recorded the highest rainfall of 109 mm. Ranchi has recorded 459 mm rainfall so far, which is a record so far. Khunti, Lohardaga and East Singhbhum have also recorded more than 300 mm of rain. The lowest rainfall of 97.5 mm has been recorded in Godda.
