Heavy rain has been falling in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand for the last 24 hours, in which a record 360 mm of rain has been recorded. At the same time, it is raining continuously in Hazaribagh, Khunti, Lohardaga and Ranchi. Ranchi Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of getting relief from rain in the coming days. Because a heavy rain alert has been issued from today till July 3.
Ranchi meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that a low pressure area is forming near the Bay of Bengal and it is slowly moving towards Jharkhand. Due to this, the effect of monsoon and low pressure activity will be seen simultaneously, especially its effect will be more in the southern districts of the state.

Red alert in these districts till July 3
Red alert has been issued till July 3 in the southern districts of Jharkhand like Khunti, Saraikela Kharsawan, East and West Singhbhum, Simdega, Gumla. There is a possibility of more than 300 mm of rain here on an average and the wind speed can be 50 to 60 km per hour. At the same time, there is also a possibility of intense thunderstorms. Ranchi Meteorological Department has advised the people of these districts not to go out of the house and not to go to the open field. They have been asked to avoid grazing cattle and driving during heavy rains.
Yellow alert issued in these districts
At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Latehar, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Palamu districts. There is a warning of heavy rain here and the wind speed can be 30 to 40 km per hour and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms. This situation will continue till July 3.
