Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi witnessed torrential rain since morning. Due to which people had trouble even getting out of their houses. In Ranchi’s Kanke area, a kutcha house collapsed in no time. At the same time, the situation in Lohardaga and East Singhbhum was also similar. Due to the rain since morning, the Bhairavi river of Ramgarh was in spate and the gate of Jamshedpur’s Dimna Dam had to be opened.
However, the maximum temperature has also seen a drop of 4 to 5 degrees due to the rain. While the expected temperature was 29 degrees, the maximum temperature of Ranchi went down to 24 degrees and Jamshedpur to 25 degrees. The maximum temperature of the southern and central districts remained between 24 to 26 degrees and the situation in other districts remained normal till now.

The condition of monsoon is quite strong in Jharkhand. The effect of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal and the wind coming from there is coming towards Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the intense form of monsoon can be seen in the next 48 hours. There may be torrential rains in the entire state.

Heavy rain alert in these districts today
Today, the effect of monsoon will be seen especially in the southern and central districts. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga, Gumla, East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega. There is no alert in other districts. At the same time, there may be strong sunshine in the western and eastern districts today.
