PM Kisan 20th Installment date update: Smiles are going to return to the faces of crores of farmers of the country soon, because the wait for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is now about to end. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Motihari in Bihar on July 18. If sources are to be believed, during this time he can release the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) has proved to be a boon for the small and marginal farmers of the country. Under this, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year is deposited directly into the bank accounts of farmers in three installments (Rs 2,000 per installment). So far 19 installments have been released, in which recently in February 2025, an amount of Rs 22,000 crore was given to 9.8 crore farmers from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Now it is the turn of the 20th installment, which is eagerly awaited.
How to check the status of your installment?
If you are also a beneficiary of this scheme, then checking the status of your installment is very easy. Follow these steps
- Open pmkisan.gov.in on your mobile or computer.
- Select the option of ‘Know Your Status’ or ‘Beneficiary Status’ on the homepage.
- Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number or registered mobile number.
- Click on ‘Get Data’, and your status will appear on the screen.
What to do if the installment gets stuck?
Many times the installment gets stuck due to Aadhaar linking, incorrect bank details or incomplete KYC. If this happens, complete e-KYC. Get OTP-based or biometric e-KYC done on the PM Kisan portal at the nearest CSC center. After that make sure that your Aadhaar and bank account are correctly linked.
Many times, fraudsters try to cheat farmers by sending fake calls or messages in the name of schemes. In such a situation, do not click on any unknown link and avoid sharing your personal information.
