Train Cancelled : 8 trains on Tatanagar route cancelled, 10 diverted – know the reason

Train Cancelled: Due to track repairs in the Adra Division, several trains passing through Tatanagar have been cancelled or short-terminated from November 10th to 16th. Passengers should check the list below before leaving home.

Jamshedpur. Due to ongoing track repair and development work in the Adra division of Eastern Railway, several train services will be affected from November 10th to 16th. Eight trains will be completely suspended during this period, while 10 will be short-terminated. This will directly impact several trains running via Tatanagar, potentially causing significant inconvenience to passengers.

Trains Running Through Tatanagar Will Be Affected
According to the Railways, the Tatanagar–Purulia–Tatanagar MEMU (68105/68106) and Tatanagar–Bhaon–Tatanagar MEMU (68107/68108) will be suspended from November 10th to 13th. These trains carry a large number of local passengers, especially working people, daily.

Similarly, the Buxar–Tatanagar Express (18184) will depart Buxar station with a 60-minute delay on November 16. The Kharagpur–Hatia Express (18035), which passes through Tatanagar, will depart Hatia station with a 180-minute delay on November 16.

Several local MEMU trains will also be suspended.
The Asansol–Adra–Asansol MEMU (68046/68045) will be suspended on November 11th.
The Adra–Bhaon–Adra MEMU (68077/68078) will not operate on November 10th, while the Adra–Varanasi MEMU (68053/68060) will be suspended on November 16th. Passengers traveling from Tatanagar to Asansol, Purulia, and Adra routes may face inconvenience due to these train suspensions.

These trains will be short-terminated
Railway officials stated that due to development work, some trains will have to be stopped before their destination. These include the 18029/18030 Kharagpur–Hatia Express and the 13503/13504 Asansol–Hatia Express, which will be stopped at intermediate stations from November 10th to 13th. Both trains also run via Tatanagar, requiring passengers traveling on this route to make alternative arrangements.

Passengers will face inconvenience, Railway issues advisory
Eastern Railway has advised passengers to check their train status before departing. Information on train schedules and operations can be obtained through the railway website, app, or helpline number. Officials say this disruption is being implemented for passenger safety and for the sake of track improvement.

While passengers will experience some inconvenience during this period, both the speed and safety of trains will improve once the work is completed. Railways says – “Short term inconvenience is necessary for long term convenience.”
