There is a forecast of heavy rain in Bokaro, Dhanbad, Giridih districts including Santhal Pargana till July 30. During this time, a warning of thunderstorm along with strong winds has also been issued in various areas of the state. Monsoon will weaken in the capital from July 31. According to the Meteorological Department, 732.7 mm of rain has already occurred in the entire state during this monsoon season, which is 53 percent more than the normal rainfall of 478.3 mm. At the same time, 965.7 mm of rain has already occurred in Ranchi during this period, which is 96 percent more than the normal rainfall of 493.9 mm.

Abhishek Anand, scientist, Meteorological Department, Ranchi said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places in the next two days in all the districts of Santhal Pargana and the surrounding districts of the state. During this period, there may be incidents of thunderstorms along with strong winds. There is a possibility of reduction in the activity of monsoon in the state after July 31.
