A major weather update has emerged in Jharkhand. The monsoon will begin its departure from Jharkhand on Sunday. Prior to this, scattered clouds and light rain with thunderstorms are expected on Friday.
The sky of Jharkhand will become completely clear from Saturday. The process of monsoon’s departure from Jharkhand will start from Sunday. Before this, there may be partial clouds at some places on Friday and light rain with thunder may occur. From Sunday, there will be sunshine in entire Jharkhand and winds will come from the west and north.
Due to the arrival of cold wind, there is a possibility of decrease in minimum temperature after the next four days. According to the Meteorological Department, after the next 24 hours, the clouds will clear from the states situated in the western and northwestern part of Jharkhand. The weather of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will become completely clear. After this, monsoon will become inactive from Jharkhand including Bihar.
According to meteorologists, Chhattisgarh may experience light clouds. This could slightly affect the southern part of Jharkhand. However, the monsoon will depart from the entire northern Jharkhand, including the districts bordering Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, in the first phase by October 12th. However, the rest of Jharkhand is expected to depart a day later.
The monsoon has been weak in the state during the last 24 hours. Only a few places received light rain. This included 21.8 mm in Dhanbad, 17 mm in Khunti, 4 mm in East Singhbhum, and light or scattered rain at some places in Dumka, Gumla, and Ranchi. According to the Meteorological Department, there will not be much change in the maximum temperature during the next five days. However, after the next four days, the minimum temperature may decrease by two to three degrees.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the monsoon is weakening in various parts of Jharkhand, including Ranchi. On Saturday, clouds are expected to clear from various parts of the state. Along with this, dry winds from the west will blow. With this, the process of monsoon departure will begin.
