School Education and Literacy Department, Ranchi has issued orders to open all categories of schools from Monday, May 13. This order has been issued by the state’s Joint Education Secretary Nandkishore Lal.
Due to the scorching heat and heat, classes from KG to 8th were postponed in Jharkhand and the timings for students from 9th to 12th were changed from 07 to 11.30 in the morning (Jharkhand School Timing). But now when the weather has improved, the operation of schools has started. However, most of the schools in Ranchi will remain closed today i.e. on May 13, 2024. Summer vacations have started in many schools and buses of many schools are engaged in election duty.
Jharkhand Schools Open: There is only one order for all schools.
This order has been issued for all government, private and government-aided schools of Jharkhand. However, students are advised to contact their school to confirm timings and holiday status. It is being told that summer vacations had been started in some schools. In such a situation, it is possible that this government order may not be applicable to those schools. Also, wherever buses are engaged in election duty, those schools should themselves inform their status to the children or parents.

While states like Delhi, NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan etc. are in the grip of heatwave (Heatwave Alert), the weather of Jharkhand is getting better. According to Meteorological Center Ranchi, there is a possibility of rain in the entire state of Jharkhand including the capital (Ranchi) till May 15. There is a possibility of rain in some districts on May 13 and in some on May 14 and 15, 2024. This will not only improve the weather of Jharkhand. In fact, the states bordering it may also get relief.
